np/semisonic:all about chemistry

tonight don and i saw 40 days and 40 nights. the new josh hartnett film.
i remember the first time i saw him in the faculty. he did the eyebrow thing!! and my lust was won from that moment on. now he's on the cover of magazines and starring in lots of films, and i think there was a pinup pullout section of this month's teen beat on him.
ahh -- his popularity only means those beautiful eyebrows will be splashed across every form of media possible. splendid!

today i almost cleaned the house. i woke up at 10:46, by fucking clockwork, inexplicably, i'd woken up at 10:47 the day before. i refused to be daunted; i just lay in bed until i fell asleep again, then was awoken around quarter to 2 by the sound of mike outside my door, and he came in and lay down atop the covers and kissed me.
that was the best thing to wake up to, i have to say. wonderful.

i finished side 1 of rob conroy's mix tape.

kurt called and wanted to come over to see the simpsons but i told him i might be at a movie with don. and don called, then came by around quarter to.
i got home to both lights in my room on -- which is strange and disturbing cos i always shut off lights and hadn't put either on in the first place.
kurt had left some sparkling grape juice, onions (the newspaper) and the white stripes cd i think he'd borrowed from me, which was vince's in the first place.

mike's coming over now and i'd told him i'd have my room clean when he got here.
that probably won't happen cos i've got to get our clothes out of the washer and hang them up before he gets here as well.
where does the time go?

i went into the bathroom after the movie, at the theatre and caught a glimpse of myself, and i looked beautiful.
mark this day on the calendar. please.
maybe i looked beautiful because i felt beautiful. that's good to realise.
